Role overview
Escape Velocity Entertainment is hiring an Associate Producer to help coordinate production work on a video game project. The role is suited to someone who communicates clearly, works well across distributed teams, and is comfortable supporting day-to-day production routines.
This is a chance to collaborate closely with developers and contribute to delivering a high-quality gaming experience on an ambitious project.
What you'll do
- Build, update, and maintain schedules and workflows for game features and assets.
- Help drive projects toward their goals, deliverables, quality standards, and deadlines.
- Keep an eye on how time and resources are being used across the production cycle.
- Work alongside production staff and team leads to share the information needed to keep work moving toward targets.
- Support strong communication of the game vision and project priorities across the team.
- Set up the right review checkpoints, surface blockers and bottlenecks, and suggest adjustments when needed.
What the company is looking for
The ideal candidate brings strong communication and organization skills, including scheduling and time management, plus a proactive, helpful attitude. Prior production experience is important, along with project management capability, familiarity with MS Office and tracking/scheduling tools, and hands-on experience with JIRA and Confluence. An interest in making video games is also expected.
