Role Overview

Join Shelf as an Associate in GTM (Go-To-Market) Operations, working closely with the VP of Operations, founders, and cross-functional leaders to optimize and advance company processes. This position involves problem-solving, building scalable systems, and leveraging data-driven insights to enhance how Shelf functions daily.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate directly with leadership on top-priority company projects, driving initiatives end-to-end from ideation to implementation.
• Develop dashboards and analyze various data sources to uncover insights that boost growth, operational efficiency, and business decisions.
• Enhance and optimize existing business systems including Salesforce, HubSpot, Attio, Clay, while assessing and deploying new technologies as the company scales.
• Implement AI and automation tools such as Claude, Claude Code, and n8n to reduce manual tasks across departments and increase leverage.
• Coordinate with Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, People Operations, Finance, and Engineering teams to improve organizational performance continuously.
• Assess and measure outcomes of projects, iterating on solutions to refine systems, reporting, and workflows.

Qualifications and Experience

• 2 to 5 years of professional experience in roles like Data Analytics, Data Science, Consulting, Strategy, Revenue or Growth Operations, Venture Capital, or fast-paced startups.
• Proficient in transforming data into actionable insights using SQL, Sigma, Hex, Tableau, Power BI, Python, or similar analytical tools.
• Familiar with managing and improving systems such as Salesforce, HubSpot, Attio, Clay, Snowflake, Fivetran, or equivalent platforms.
• Experienced with AI and workflow automation tools including Claude, ChatGPT, Claude Code, n8n, Zapier or comparable technologies.
• Demonstrates a builder mindset—comfortable addressing ambiguous challenges and constructing scalable systems rather than simply maintaining existing procedures.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask, a curious nature, and resourcefulness in a dynamic, fast-moving environment.

Compensation and Benefits

• Annual base salary ranging between $120,000 and $140,000 plus equity participation.
