Associate – Global Infrastructure Private Equity

Role overview

A global infrastructure private equity platform is looking to hire an Associate for its Sydney investment team. The business is a highly active investor with a strong history of delivering results across the Asia-Pacific region.

Compared with traditional infrastructure investing, this team targets value-add opportunities where hands-on ownership, operational enhancements, and strategic growth initiatives are central to creating returns. The mandate spans digital infrastructure, energy transition, utilities, transport, and other critical infrastructure assets across Asia-Pacific.

What you will do

As part of a compact, high-performing team, you will contribute across the full investment cycle. This includes sourcing opportunities, working through execution, supporting portfolio management, and helping drive value creation initiatives. The position comes with meaningful responsibility and regular interaction with management teams and advisers.

Experience sought

The ideal background is around 3 to 6 years of experience gained in investment banking, infrastructure advisory, private equity, infrastructure investing, or principal investing. You should bring strong capability in financial modelling, valuation, and transaction execution, together with a genuine interest in value-add real assets investing.
