About the Role

As an Associate Client Manager, you will support the Client Management team in nurturing and expanding customer relationships within foundational accounts, helping to boost renewals and growth across all solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in managing and growing client relationships to encourage renewals and cross-selling opportunities in assigned foundational segment accounts.
- Contribute to reducing client attrition and improving retention by identifying opportunities under supervision.
- Support client satisfaction management throughout the client buying lifecycle by assisting with commercial agreements.
- Engage with clients under direct guidance to address concerns and recommend viable company solutions.
- Help generate demand by recognizing client needs and engaging through digital marketing channels.
- Develop foundational understanding of client industries, business environments, and strategies to identify opportunities.
- Effectively communicate the value of NTT DATA’s services and product offerings to clients.
- Work collaboratively with vendors under supervision to meet objectives.
- Utilize sales tools and methodologies to manage territories, accounts, leads, pipelines, and forecasting efficiently.
- Establish open communication channels with clients in assigned accounts.
- Assist in revenue growth by motivating clients to acquire additional services.
- Be a dependable contact point to foster strong business relationships.
- Aim to meet performance targets while maintaining excellent client service.
- Support implementation of governance, compliance policies, and risk management within own practice area.
- Learn to monitor financial governance and cost management effectively.
Knowledge and Skills
- Sales business acumen with focus on planning, leveraging tools and data to align with company business needs.
- Client engagement and management skills to deepen client relationships and drive sales growth, developing trusted advisor status.
- Understanding of company products, market trends, and client use cases to provide tailored solutions.
- Sales pursuit capabilities, including opportunity identification, ownership, and coordination to close sales.
Educational Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in business or a sales-related field.
- Vendor certifications are beneficial but not mandatory.
- Entry-level experience (1-2 years) in sales, customer service, or technical support within dynamic environments.
- Experience in IT or professional services sales, preferably inside sales or telesales.
- Contact centre experience in IT, ideally related to telecommunications or connectivity.
- Familiarity with Salesforce.com is advantageous.
- Exposure to marketing or advertising is a plus.
