Ramco Systems delivers advanced enterprise solutions with cloud-native, AI/ML-integrated platforms that serve 1,000+ clients worldwide in payroll, HR, aviation MRO, ERP, and logistics sectors.
Role Objective
This entry-level position targets enthusiastic fresh graduates with strong analytical skills and an interest in the HR and payroll domains. The role is designed to build foundational expertise in enterprise payroll and Human Capital Management (HCM) implementations while collaborating closely with seasoned consultants.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in translating business requirements into detailed functional specifications and process documentation under supervision.
- Support senior consultants by learning and analyzing client business workflows related to Payroll, Time & Attendance, and Core HR modules.
- Participate in requirement-gathering sessions through observation, note-taking, and documentation.
- Gain hands-on experience configuring Ramco Payroll and HCM modules in line with requirement documents.
- Help validate statutory rules, payroll cycles, earning and deduction structures, leave policies, and attendance frameworks.
- Collaborate with product and technical teams to evaluate change requests as directed.
- Track project milestones, update action items, and maintain accurate project documentation.
- Contribute to implementation stages including configuration, testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), training, and deployment.
- Facilitate communication among business stakeholders, product teams, and technical groups as a liaison.
- Support the preparation and execution of functional test cases and UAT scenarios, alongside defect logging and resolution.
- Provide hyper-care support during the go-live phase and document learnings and reusable assets for future reference.
- Complete domain and product training to enhance expertise, and identify small process improvements during projects.
Required Skills and Experience
- 0 to 2 years of experience or fresh graduates interested in HRMS, HCM, or payroll implementation and consulting.
- Basic knowledge of payroll concepts including statutory compliance, payroll cycles, and HR processes related to time and attendance.
- Exposure to HR management systems such as Ramco, SAP, Oracle, Workday, Dayforce, Darwinbox, or UKG is preferable.
- Strong documentation skills including note-taking and process mapping.
- Ability to work collaboratively in teams and effectively interact with stakeholders.
- Analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and logical reasoning capabilities.
- Proficient with MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Possesses a customer-oriented approach, strong ownership, and the ability to communicate clearly and think in a structured manner.
- Comfortable managing ambiguity and working under pressure.
Educational Qualifications
- MBA or Master’s degree in HR, Systems, Business, or related fields preferred; recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Candidates from other educational backgrounds with relevant payroll or HR experience may also qualify.
Additional Preferences
- Internships or academic projects related to HR, payroll, or enterprise software are advantageous.
- Understanding of project management frameworks such as Agile or Waterfall.
- Experience with global or multi-country business contexts across APAC, Middle East, or Europe regions.
- Possession of certifications in HR, payroll, business analysis, data analysis, or analytics tools is a plus.
