Role Overview

This position as an Accounts Payable Analyst involves managing end-to-end accounts payable operations, including invoice processing, resolving exceptions, handling supplier inquiries, supporting payments, conducting reconciliations, and ensuring compliance. The role entails collaborating closely with procure-to-pay teams, suppliers, business units, finance, and IT support to guarantee precise and efficient invoice-to-payment workflows.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and accurately process supplier invoices per established procedures.
• Validate invoice details such as supplier data, invoice numbers, purchase orders, dates, taxes, and payment information.
• Handle purchase order (PO) and non-PO invoice processing within stipulated timeframes.
• Route invoices to designated approvers as necessary.
• Process credit and debit notes by following set guidelines.
• Address routine supplier and business queries via email or workflow systems promptly.
• Coordinate with internal departments to resolve invoice-related issues.
• Follow up on invoice approvals or requests for further documentation.
• Maintain detailed tracking records and update outstanding items promptly.
• Escalate unresolved problems to senior staff following protocols.
• Assist payment activities by confirming invoice completeness and authorization.
• Support payment validations and respond to payment inquiries.
• Ensure timely payment executions aligned to schedules.
• Adhere rigorously to accounts payable policies, procedures, and controls.
• Maintain comprehensive transaction documentation and ensure compliance with client and finance policies.
• Support audit processes with accurate records and perform quality checks on transactions.
• Maintain daily operational trackers, meet productivity and accuracy goals, and participate in month-end processes and training sessions.
• Contribute to a collaborative and customer-focused workplace culture.

Qualifications and Skills

• Basic understanding of Procure-to-Pay or Accounts Payable processes.
• Familiarity with invoices, purchase orders, and payment cycles preferred.
• Knowledge of fundamental accounting principles.
• Experience or academic familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP or SAP Ariba is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Fresh graduates with relevant internships, academic projects, or certifications in finance operations or ERP systems preferred.
