Job Description & Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive learning needs assessments for the hotel before budgeting to assist in shaping the Training Plan.
- Work closely with the People and Culture Manager to roll out the Hotel Training Plan and budget, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
- Track and monitor all training activities, both on-the-job and off-the-job, ensuring timely reporting.
- Ensure all mandated Academy trainings are assigned and completed across properties.
- Maintain 100% compliance with the employee onboarding program including orientation and frontline service leader (FLS) training in line with hotel standards and brand commitments.
- Coordinate and deliver training from both internal and external sources.
- Promote and manage online and e-learning tools, adhering to approvals and tracking completions and registrations.
- Design and implement quality introductory and ongoing departmental training plans; provide coaching and support to leaders at all tiers.
- Manage the Accor HERO Learning Portal to ensure all colleagues complete mandatory training.
- Assess the effectiveness of cross-training initiatives and pursue multi-property training opportunities.
- Gather and analyze feedback on learning experiences to gauge impact and sustainable change.
- Ensure full employee proficiency with the HERO platform and generate monthly or quarterly performance reports.
- Develop relationships with industry associations and external training providers.
- Guarantee compliance with local statutory learning and development regulations (such as NITA).
- Deliver multiple training programs including Onboarding, Brand Immersion, Service Culture, ACCOR Global Leadership Programs, Train the Trainer, Heartist, and Diversity, Equity & Inclusion initiatives.
- Support and nurture departmental trainers.
- Develop and implement effective learning evaluation and reporting systems.
- Maintain a current Training Calendar to optimize learning resource utilization.
- Act as a Brand Ambassador by delivering engaging service and support to colleagues daily.
- Conduct annual Learning Needs Analysis with departments to inform budgeting and develop the L&D strategy.
- Develop structured monthly, quarterly, and annual training plans.
- Support engagement with educational institutions for internship programs and collaborate with departments to address internship requirements.
- Utilize diverse digital communication channels creatively to enhance employee engagement; contribute content to monthly newsletters spotlighting staff and achievements.
- Prepare presentation materials for town halls and employee notice boards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Education, Business Administration, Project Management, or related discipline; Master's degree preferred.
- Proven background in Learning & Development, ideally within a global or multi-site context.
- Experience managing geographically diverse teams is advantageous.
- Strong expertise in soft skills training methods and adult learning principles.
- Skilled in managing training content and learning management systems/platforms.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities.
- Ability to design and implement talent development initiatives.
- Strong organizational and project management competence.
- Fluent to advanced proficiency in English is essential.
- Willingness to collaborate across dispersed teams and manage time zone differences.
