Role overview
This Assistant Branch Manager position is based at the St. Catharines branch at 220 Welland Ave. The role combines customer service, sales execution, cash handling, team leadership, collections follow-up, and operational control to help the branch meet profitability and service goals.
What you will do
- Support the branch in meeting profitability and business targets.
- Deliver a strong customer experience by processing transactions efficiently and accurately.
- Manage cash responsibly and enter all transactions correctly in the system.
- Call customers with overdue balances and work out payment arrangements and timelines.
- Recruit, coach, and develop branch staff.
- Lead the team to stay on track with performance expectations and targets.
- Review documents and records to confirm they are complete and accurate.
- Maintain safety, security, and compliance standards in daily operations.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience in a management or team lead position.
- At least 1 year of experience in financial services and sales.
- A customer-first mindset with a strong drive to sell.
- Interest in coaching and growing a sales-focused team.
- Proven ability to lead a team and meet sales objectives.
- Prior experience handling cash.
- High school diploma or equivalent practical work experience.
