Architect Engineer – High-Rise Building Projects

Job Overview

Join our dynamic team as an Architect Engineer focusing on high-rise building projects in Dubai. The role demands extensive expertise in architectural design and project execution for major commercial or tall building developments, showcasing creativity, technical knowledge, and coordination abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead the full architectural design process from initial concept to project completion specifically for high-rise structures.
• Create comprehensive architectural drawings, construction documents, and specifications adhering to Dubai's building codes and standards.
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams including structural, MEP, and civil engineering professionals to integrate designs effectively.
• Maintain coordination with clients, consultants, contractors, and regulatory authorities to secure all required approvals and permits.
• Perform site inspections regularly to verify construction progress aligns with design intentions and quality benchmarks.
• Manage design challenges and implement necessary modifications during construction phases.
• Keep abreast of cutting-edge architectural trends, advanced materials, and new technologies.
• Ensure compliance of all architectural deliverables with sustainability, safety, and regulatory requirements mandated by Dubai authorities such as Dubai Municipality, Trakhees, and RERA.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture mandatory; Master’s Degree is preferred.
• At least five years of experience in architectural engineering, emphasizing high-rise, mixed-use, or large-scale commercial projects.
• Demonstrated experience on high-rise projects within the UAE or GCC region is essential.
• Deep understanding of Dubai’s building codes, local authority regulations, and approval workflows.
• Hands-on experience dealing with local authorities for project approvals in the UAE is required.
• Comprehensive expertise in façade systems, architectural finishes, and sophisticated detailing.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and BIM software.
• Strong grasp of Building Information Modeling processes and interdisciplinary project coordination.
• Effective project management, coordination, and time management abilities to juggle multiple priority tasks.
• Excellent English communication skills, both spoken and written.
• Previous experience working in the UAE is highly regarded.
• Professional certification or membership from a recognized engineering or architectural body (e.g., UAE Society of Engineers) is advantageous.
