About the Role

The Analytics AI Strategy and Operations position within YouTube offers a strategic leadership opportunity that blends product management, analytics, and AI-driven operational excellence. This role focuses on building, scaling, and implementing AI-powered analytics solutions across YouTube's product, engineering, and strategy teams to optimize workflows and business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop AI-driven tools and infrastructure to enhance the efficiency of analytics by scaling solutions that support key operational and analytical workflows.
• Champion the deployment and adoption of AI-assisted coding and SQL tools across analytics and product teams.
• Coordinate with multiple analytics groups to strategically prioritize AI initiatives where they yield the greatest impact for YouTube.
• Manage the growth of AI-enhanced platforms that quickly diagnose metric fluctuations and associate them with product or policy adjustments.
• Lead training and mentorship programs focused on AI adoption, execute change management plans, and establish documentation frameworks for insights.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience is mandatory.
• A minimum of 15 years’ experience in management consulting, product management, corporate strategy, or analytics within a technology environment.
• Proven experience working with data analysis and managing multiple cross-functional initiatives or programs.
• Demonstrated success in leading AI product development from inception to launch.
• Preferred qualifications include an advanced degree or comparable experience.
• Familiarity with analytic tools such as R, SQL, and spreadsheets.
• Experience managing operations or product strategies for platforms with large-scale user bases in the millions or billions.
• Knowledge of concurrency systems and global data governance is advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

Annual salaries range from $222,000 to $309,000 USD, with a target bonus of 25%, plus equity and comprehensive benefits. Individual pay is influenced by experience, skills, and educational background.
