Role Overview and Responsibilities

We are seeking a diligent Accountant to oversee daily financial activities encompassing billing, taxation, inventory recording, and regulatory compliance.

• Generate and manage GST tax invoices, proforma invoices, e-way bills, and delivery challans efficiently.
• Administer daily billing processes and uphold precise sales and purchase documentation.
• Prepare and submit GST returns adhering to timely statutory mandates.
• Reconcile GST records, bank statements, as well as customer and vendor accounts systematically.
• Maintain detailed SKU-level inventory logs and monitor stock movements.
• Supervise stock inflow and outflow, evaluate inventory valuation, and aid in periodical stock audits.
• Accurately enter purchase and sales transactions, expenses, receipts, and payments into accounting software.
• Manage accounts receivable and payable, including conducting payment follow-ups.
• Compile financial statements including profit & loss accounts, balance sheets, and monthly Management Information System (MIS) reports.
• Ensure proper filing and safeguarding of invoices, vouchers, and all financial documentation.
• Assist in payroll management and statutory deduction processes when necessary.
• Perform additional accounting, financial, and administrative duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills Required

• A Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 1 year of practical accounting experience, ideally within manufacturing, textile, or wholesale sectors.
• Comprehensive understanding of invoicing, GST, TDS, bookkeeping, and key accounting principles.
• Proficiency with accounting software like Tally Prime, My Bill Book, Busy, Marg, or equivalent ERP platforms.
• Familiarity with inventory management and detailed SKU-based stock tracking.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and formula application.
• Strong analytical mindset combined with meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.

Preferred Experience

• Background in the textile, garment, or wholesale industries.
• Knowledge of warehouse and inventory accounting processes.
• Experience operating e-invoicing, e-way bills, and GST portal functionalities.
