About the Company
Action Car and Truck Accessories is the sole national Canadian retailer and distributor specializing in car and truck accessories. Headquartered in Moncton, New Brunswick, it operates 44 stores and 4 distribution centers across Canada. Currently, they are seeking an Accessory Specialist to join their team in St. John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador.
Role Overview
The Accessory Specialist is tasked with offering expert guidance on product selection, generating customer quotes, and ensuring a superior customer experience to assist clients in finding suitable automotive accessories for their vehicles.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide knowledgeable advice regarding automotive accessories and vehicle enhancement options.
- Prepare customer quotes and assist clients in choosing appropriate products.
- Promote an extensive assortment of items such as hood deflectors, box covers, wheels and tires, and 4x4 accessories.
- Coordinate installation scheduling and collaborate with technicians as needed.
- Accurately maintain customer order records and related documents.
- Keep showroom displays and product sections tidy and well-organized.
- Deliver exceptional customer service both face-to-face and via telephone.
Candidate Qualifications
- At least 2 years of automotive industry experience.
- Strong skills in customer service and working collaboratively as part of a team.
- Effective communication capabilities and aptitude for building relationships.
- Excellent attention to detail coupled with organizational proficiency.
- Sales experience is advantageous.
- Ability to excel in a dynamic retail setting.
- Experience with installing automotive accessories is a plus.
Compensation and Benefits
The position offers hourly wages ranging from $22.00 to $26.00 based on experience and qualifications. Additional benefits include comprehensive health and dental coverage, paid vacation, and appealing employee discounts.
