About the Internship

This internship offers hands-on experience in mechanical design and prototyping within a startup focused on sustainable urban farming solutions. The intern will work on developing 3D CAD models and 2D manufacturing drawings for various sub-assemblies and units. Responsibilities include assembling prototype systems, conducting functional tests, and refining designs based on test results.

Applicants will engage with vendor specifications and fabrication feasibility checks, performing QA/QC on incoming and fabricated components. Site visits will be required for installation inspections and verification. The role also involves maintaining detailed records of drawings, revisions, bills of materials, and inspection reports.

Eligibility Requirements

Ideal candidates should be pursuing or have completed a mechanical engineering degree or diploma. They must be proficient with CAD software such as SolidWorks or Fusion 360 and capable of creating and interpreting fabrication drawings. Candidates residing in or near Mumbai, specifically Goregaon East, and willing to commute for site visits are preferred. The internship requires full-time, in-office attendance starting between July 20, 2026, and August 24, 2026, for a three-month period.

Compensation and Benefits

The stipend ranges from ₹10,000 to ₹15,000 per month. Additional perks include a certificate of completion, a letter of recommendation, and an informal dress code.
