About the internship

Baweja Media is looking for a graphic design intern who can contribute to ongoing client and in-house creative work from home. The role is suited to someone who already works confidently in Adobe tools and wants to sharpen professional design skills over a 6-month period.

What you’ll work on

Create social media visuals such as reel covers, carousels, posts, and stories, along with ad creatives and brand collateral.
Develop original designs from the ground up in Adobe Photoshop or Adobe Illustrator, using layers, vectors, masks, blend modes, typography hierarchy, and grid systems.
Use design principles such as colour theory, typography, hierarchy, and visual storytelling rather than relying on template-driven layouts.
Review feedback from senior designers, refine concepts, and deliver polished output consistently.

Workflow and coordination

Keep design assets neatly organised in a structured database with PSD, AI, and export files sorted by brand and date.
Collaborate with the marketing team and copywriters so that visuals and written messaging stay aligned.
Track current design trends and adapt useful ideas without copying existing work.

Tools and file expectations

Primary tools for this role are Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Figma.
Every design submitted must include the source file in PSD, AI, or Figma format.
AI image tools such as Midjourney, DALL-E, and Adobe Firefly may be used only for moodboards and ideation, not as final deliverables.

Important role boundaries

This internship is not intended for candidates who primarily build portfolios in Canva and want to learn Photoshop on the job. The team is specifically seeking designers who already use Adobe tools and are ready to grow into stronger professionals over the internship period. Applications that rely mainly on Canva templates or AI-generated imagery are not suitable and will be filtered out during screening.

This is a work-from-home internship.
The stipend is INR 6,000 to 10,000 per month.
The internship runs for 6 months.
The start date is immediate, with applications accepted only from candidates who can begin between 6th Jul'26 and 10th Aug'26.

Eligibility criteria

Applicants must be available for a remote work-from-home internship.
Applicants must be able to start within the stated start window and commit for the full 6 months.
Candidates should have relevant design skills and interest in the field.
Preferred educational background includes graduate or postgraduate study, especially in graphic design, fine arts, design school (such as NID, SRISHTI, or IICD), animation, or visual communication.
Applicants should not be actively freelancing, as this is expected to be a full-time internship with undivided focus.
A personal laptop or desktop with a strong processor, ideally 16GB+ RAM, and reliable Wi-Fi is required.
Strong command of Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator is mandatory; Figma is considered an added advantage.
Canva may be used only for quick internal mock-ups, and AI tools are limited to ideation.
