About the role
Thynk Cloud is hiring a Cloud Operations Intern to support its cloud infrastructure monitoring function. This role offers practical exposure to AWS and Azure environments, Linux servers, monitoring platforms, and managed cloud operations while working closely with experienced cloud engineers.
What you'll do
- Track AWS infrastructure alerts during the day shift using tools such as AWS CloudWatch, Zabbix, Site24x7, and internal dashboards.
- Review the basic health of EC2 instances by checking availability, CPU and memory usage, disk space, uptime, connectivity, and service status.
- Carry out first-level troubleshooting following SOPs, including ping tests, SSH and RDP checks, disk space validation, basic log inspection, and service checks under supervision.
- Identify and report high resource usage, downtime, repeated warnings, and unusual activity to senior cloud engineers.
- Document incidents clearly with screenshots, timestamps, affected resources, alert summaries, and the troubleshooting steps already completed.
- Escalate unresolved or serious issues to senior engineers with the right context and priority.
- Help with basic Azure VM monitoring and L1 health checks when needed.
- Prepare daily monitoring reports, shift handover notes, and operational status updates for the team.
- Follow company processes for security, access control, documentation, and client support.
- Continue learning and contributing to cloud operations work related to AWS, Azure, Linux servers, monitoring, managed services, DevOps, and internal automation.
Eligibility
This opportunity is for candidates who can work full time in office, are based in Mumbai, can begin between 5 July 2026 and 9 August 2026, can commit to 6 months, and have relevant skills and interest. Computer Science Engineering students are also eligible. Immediate joiners or those available within 7 days from 5 July 2026 are preferred.
Requirements
- Basic understanding of AWS, EC2, Linux, AWS CloudWatch, networking, and troubleshooting.
- Prior exposure to Zabbix, Site24x7, Azure VMs, DevOps fundamentals, or cloud certifications/training is preferred.
- A disciplined, punctual, and serious approach to learning is expected, along with interest in building a long-term career in cloud operations, DevOps, managed services, and cloud infrastructure support.
- Must be available for a full-time, in-office internship in Mumbai.

- 5 days working per week
- Stipend of INR 10,000 to 12,000 per month
- The internship is listed for 6 months initially, but may be extended up to 9 months depending on performance, discipline, attendance, learning ability, and business needs.
