Role Overview
Lenovo is hiring a Workstations Category Specialist in Saudi Arabia to shape and drive the commercial direction of its professional workstation business. The position centers on category lifecycle management, portfolio optimization, pricing and promotional planning, and identifying growth opportunities in the local market.
What You Will Do
- Design and implement the commercial plan for the Lenovo Workstations portfolio to improve growth, profitability, and market share across Saudi Arabia.
- Act as the go-to expert for the Workstations category, keeping track of market shifts, customer expectations, competitor moves, and product direction.
- Research the market and assess competitors to uncover business opportunities, demand trends, and customer needs.
- Build, own, and present quarterly business plans covering portfolio recommendations, pricing approach, promotions, and sales support actions.
- Oversee category pricing, margin performance, and promotional spending to strengthen revenue and profitability.
- Provide sales teams with category knowledge, competitive insights, value messaging, and practical tools to improve customer conversations and conversion.
- Work closely with channel, distribution, and marketing teams on sales planning, inventory coordination, demand generation, and go-to-market activities.
- Track business performance using key metrics and take corrective actions to keep results on target.
- Support workstation launches and local market execution while aligning with regional strategy.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in workstations, PCs, IT hardware, or the broader technology sector in product management, category management, or a similar role.
- Working knowledge of the Saudi Arabia IT landscape, commercial buyer environment, and channel network.
- Prior exposure to distributors, partners, and enterprise sales teams is preferred, and familiarity with enterprise technology solutions is an added advantage.
- Strong analytical ability and commercial judgment, with the capability to turn data into actionable recommendations.
- Professional-level English and Arabic communication skills.
- Experience in category management, product management, business planning, sales operations, or another commercial function with strong business sense.
- Self-driven, target-focused, and comfortable in a fast-moving matrix organization.
- Willingness and ability to travel around 30% of the time.
