About the Role
Veolia is seeking a dedicated Work Management Planner to oversee the scheduling and coordination of maintenance activities within the Western Corridor Recycled Water Scheme. The role involves ensuring that maintenance is executed punctually, safely, and in line with high-quality standards. Utilizing Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), you will collaborate closely with maintenance and operations teams to support continuous, reliable water system operations.
Job Responsibilities
- Schedule and coordinate maintenance tasks using the maintenance management system to fulfill committed deliverables.
- Organize and lead fortnightly planning meetings with site teams to determine maintenance priorities and timelines.
- Enhance team efficiency by sharing best practices and refining maintenance planning processes.
- Manage major maintenance shutdowns by coordinating and sequencing required activities.
- Maintain accurate and current maintenance records, ensure logical scheduling, and track spare parts inventory.
- Provide weekly performance reports to keep stakeholders informed of progress.
- Verify that completed maintenance meets company standards and customer expectations.
- Work alongside maintenance supervisors to prioritize maintenance jobs.
- Coordinate with contractors as needed for maintenance support.
- Participate in team meetings and toolbox talks to maintain strong communication and safety awareness.
Candidate Requirements
- Possession of a trade qualification or relevant tertiary credentials specializing in Mechanical, Electrical, or Instrumentation fields.
- Proven experience in maintenance planning, reporting, and overall maintenance management.
- Advanced proficiency with CMMS software, preferably Infor EAM.
- Demonstrated leadership experience and ability to work effectively with small teams.
- Background in water or wastewater industrial environments is an advantage.
