Weekend Hygiene Operative

Overview of the Position

Are you interested in earning at least A3230 weekly by working weekends? We have open positions for Weekend Hygiene Operatives at our Hereford, Herefordshire site. No prior experience is needed as full training will be provided.

• Hourly wage of A313.67 plus an additional shift allowance of A32.13 per hour

Working Hours

Shifts run from 6:00 PM to 2:00 AM on Saturday and Sunday.

Key Responsibilities

• Meet individual and team performance targets related to hygiene standards
• Efficiently use materials and energy resources
• Support continual improvements in quality, safety, and productivity
• Handle plant and equipment manually, including isolations
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards both independently and as part of the hygiene team
• Comply rigorously with food safety regulations and health & safety guidelines
• Follow instructions provided by supervisors and management

Candidate Profile

• Basic numeracy and good command of English
• Team player with effective communication skills
• Strong focus on detail and flexibility in job duties
• Previous experience in manufacturing or production is a plus but not required

Avara Foods is a major UK food company specializing in chicken and turkey production, serving top supermarkets and restaurants. We control the whole supply chain from farm to consumer, employing over 1500 people at our advanced Hereford processing plant.
