Web Development Internship

About the Role

Brown Management works with executive leadership across German-speaking Europe to provide detailed analysis and structural remedies for internal challenges that slow growth, including organizational friction and unclear decision-making authority. The current assignment supports a partner company in the German infrastructure sector during a major period of organizational transition.

As a Web Development Intern, you will help maintain the technical and structural quality of the digital systems used to deliver consulting work. These platforms often need clear, information-rich interfaces that can present restructuring progress and governance documentation in a reliable way. The position combines hands-on web work with a consulting environment focused on accuracy, making it important to approach technical tasks with care and precision. This is a full-time, fully remote role.

What You'll Do

• Update and support internal web tools that monitor project milestones for the infrastructure client.
• Prepare and organize large datasets so they can be displayed clearly in client-facing dashboards using standard web technologies.
• Help build straightforward, text-focused documentation pages that explain complex business structures.
• Check user interfaces for accessibility and technical reliability across browsers and devices.
• Assist with moving older documents into better-organized digital repositories to strengthen accountability.
• Work closely with analysts to make sure technical outputs are accurate and error-free.
• Look into and propose small improvements related to internal data protection and account administration.

What We're Looking For

• Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with an emphasis on writing neat, readable code.
• Genuine interest in how digital systems reflect organizational structure and decision rights.
• Strong precision when working on technical tasks, especially those involving sensitive client information.
• Ability to produce clear, concise documentation that can be easily understood by non-technical stakeholders.
• A structured, logical approach to solving problems, especially when tracing bugs or data issues.
• Comfort working with different technology stacks and openness to learning new tools and systems.
• Appreciation for backend organization, site upkeep, and other essential but less visible work.
