Position Summary

The VP of Operations Strategy & Business Development is charged with crafting and executing the company’s comprehensive operational strategies alongside growth initiatives. This leadership role demands coordination across multiple departments to boost efficiency, drive business expansion, and create sustainable competitive edges. Key Responsibilities

• Develop medium- and long-range operational strategies aligned with industry dynamics and market shifts.
• Regularly revise company direction through strategic insights and present actionable recommendations to executive leadership.
• Set annual operational targets and define corresponding key performance indicators.
• Enhance operational workflows and efficiency via standardized processes and management systems.
• Supervise departments to ensure alignment with established goals and reinforce inter-department coordination.
• Optimize resource distribution and operational expenditures continuously.
• Scout for new business ventures and strategic partnerships to broaden market presence and profitability.
• Lead deployment of major initiatives and maintain relationships with critical clients and partners.
• Utilize data analytics to monitor business performance, forecast trends, and guide optimization efforts.
• Oversee project planning, budgeting, timelines, and quality control, ensuring timely delivery.
• Build and nurture a high-caliber operations management team with clear growth pathways and performance evaluation systems.
• Implement robust risk management frameworks to identify, mitigate operational threats and comply with regulations.

Qualifications

• Educational credentials include at least a Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business Administration, Operations Management, Economics, Finance, Marketing or related disciplines.
• An MBA degree is highly favored.
• More than 20 years of experience in operations management or business development with at least five years in senior leadership roles.
• Proven background in strategic planning, cross-functional management, and preferably handling large-scale projects.
