Overview
The Vice President of Technical Services is responsible for optimizing equipment availability and elevating customer satisfaction by overseeing top-tier repair operations, technical support, quality management systems, and driving continuous operational enhancements.
Key Responsibilities
- Recruit and cultivate leadership within the department by hiring and mentoring managers, conducting yearly performance evaluations, and promoting key performance indicators with clear accountability.
- Manage repair operations and technical assistance by standardizing repair processes, enhancing turnaround times, assuring consistent quality in repairs, and addressing field technical challenges.
- Supervise hoist and automation systems alongside repair operations through maintaining repair infrastructure, supporting automation technologies, and implementing documentation and procedural improvements.
- Enhance equipment availability and operational excellence by monitoring repair metrics, minimizing recurring failures, boosting technician efficiency, and endorsing quality control programs.
- Champion ongoing improvements by reviewing escalations, assisting with repair costing and parts credit processes, leading improvement initiatives, and supporting broader technical services administrative functions.
