Overview
Escalon Business Services Pvt. Ltd is seeking a US Payroll Specialist to manage comprehensive payroll operations for clients based in the United States. This fully remote role calls for expertise in payroll processes, tax compliance, and effective communication to address employee inquiries promptly.
Key Duties
- Oversee complete payroll cycles for US clients ensuring adherence to federal and state tax laws.
- Execute payroll processing tasks such as configuring deductions, verifying standard deductions, and managing employment changes including onboarding and terminations.
- Administer regulatory forms like I-9, W-4, W-2, and conduct E-Verification and amendment activities.
- Respond to employee questions through phone and email channels efficiently.
- Use payroll software including ADP, PeopleSoft, Workday, Workforce, and QuickBooks for processing and reporting.
- Compile weekly and month-end payroll reports.
- Collaborate with the team to maintain quality standards and meet deadlines.
- Apply advanced Microsoft Excel techniques such as VLOOKUP and PivotTables for data analysis.
- Manage state-specific registrations, tax accounts, compliance issues, including SUI and withholding accounts.
- Handle communications and compliance matters with state agencies through various communication platforms and portals.
Required Qualifications
- Between 3 and 8 years of professional experience handling US payroll operations.
- Excellent command of English, encompassing speaking, reading, and writing.
- Competent in Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Excel.
- Possession of any bachelor's degree.
