U-Box Customer Care Representative (Commercial)

Key Responsibilities

• Drive a flatbed truck safely and efficiently.
• Operate an 8000 lb propane forklift or a truck-mounted forklift to load and unload containers.
• Transport storage containers to and from customer residences and local business locations.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Possess a clean motor vehicle driving record.
• Hold a High School Diploma or an equivalent certification.
• Have a valid Canadian Class 3 or D driver's license with Air Brake Endorsement.
• Be able to pass a criminal background check.
• Be aged 18 years or older.

Work Environment and Physical Expectations

• The job involves exposure to moderate risks, including working near moving machinery, fumes, or irritants, requiring use of appropriate safety wear like gloves, goggles, or masks.
• The role requires physical exertion such as standing outdoors and indoors for prolonged periods, moving within confined spaces, using tools, and lifting or assisting with loads of at least 50 lbs.
