Job description

Role Overview

We are seeking Trust & Safety Specialists for a global technology company operating within Integrity Operations and Trust & Safety teams. The position involves reviewing content, managing escalations, and making enforcement decisions that protect platform integrity and user safety specifically for the North American region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess and act on escalated content and cases within Global Response workflows, adhering strictly to defined Service Level Agreements.
  • Enforce Community Standards with complex and delicate content decisions.
  • Interpret cultural nuances, slang, coded language, and intent relevant to the United States and Canada.
  • Deliver regional insights to support consistent policy enforcement across North America.
  • Manage high-priority and ambiguous cases requiring sound judgment and nuanced policy application.
  • Work collaboratively with Policy, Legal, and other cross-functional teams on enforcement matters.
  • Ensure high accuracy and quality, targeting approximately 90% or above.
  • Identify new risks, trends, and abuse patterns specific to the region.
  • Contribute to process and tool enhancements.
  • Participate in global coverage schedules, including potential on-call duties.

Candidate Requirements

  • Minimum of three years of professional experience in Trust & Safety, Content Moderation, Online Operations, or related fields.
  • In-depth knowledge of North American cultural context, language, slang, and online trends.
  • Strong command of written and spoken English.
  • Proficiency in applying intricate policy frameworks to content-related decisions.
  • Experience operating in environments with high-volume, queue-driven workflows.
  • Ability to handle sensitive or potentially distressing material.

Additional Details

  • Location: Ballsbridge, Dublin, fully onsite five days a week.
  • Contract duration: 11 months.
  • Working hours: Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 6 PM.
  • Compensation: €56,000 annually.

This position offers the opportunity to function as a regional subject matter expert within an influential global technology setting, ensuring enforcement decisions are culturally precise and aligned with policy across the North American market.
