About the Role
We are seeking a friendly and energetic individual passionate about fashion retail to join our team as a Third Key Holder. This key position supports visual merchandising and marketing efforts and works closely with management to maintain smooth store and stockroom operations. When the Store Manager and Assistant Manager are unavailable, you will take charge of overseeing all store functions.
Responsibilities
- Oversee complete store operations in the absence of senior leadership, including opening and closing duties, maintaining store cleanliness, restocking and merchandising, providing excellent customer service, and supervising staff.
- Create a welcoming shopping atmosphere by greeting and engaging customers knowledgeably about products.
- Operate the cash register effectively for purchase transactions.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures.
- Support the Store Manager in upholding company standards aligned with the employee handbook.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Store Manager to address business needs.
Qualifications
- At least one year of retail industry experience.
- High school diploma considered an advantage.
- Strong selling skills paired with excellent customer service aptitude.
- Effective time management and ability to prioritize tasks.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to interact with customers and team members alike.
- Capability to delegate tasks and take responsibility for store operations.
- Leadership qualities focused on fostering a positive and inclusive team environment.
Physical and Availability Requirements
- Capacity to stand for long periods and climb ladders as needed.
- Ability to handle and move merchandise and fixtures weighing up to 30 pounds across the store.
- Availability to work during days, evenings, and weekends as business demands.
