Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development and customer projects from conception through to successful delivery.
• In larger initiatives, partner with a Systems Engineer to jointly manage technical and organizational aspects.
• Serve as the primary liaison between clients and internal teams to ensure timely and high-quality project outcomes.
• Plan, oversee, and execute sophisticated technical projects involving multiple disciplines including hardware, software, mechanics, and acoustics.
• Coordinate interdisciplinary engineering teams to align requirements, milestones, and deliverables with stakeholders.
• Create and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, and conduct thorough risk analysis.
• Collaborate closely with the Systems Engineer on system architecture and technical decision-making.
• Track project progress, assess quality, and identify technical risks, implementing corrective actions as needed.
• Lead meetings for technical review, design discussions, and status reporting.
• Assist in preparing proposals, estimating costs, and maintaining project documentation.
• Present technical solutions and outcomes to customers, partners, and internal teams.
• Drive continuous improvements in research & development and project management processes.

Candidate Profile

• Educational background in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Systems Engineering, Physics, or a related discipline.
• Several years’ experience in technical project management, preferably in embedded systems, communication technology, or marine technology sectors.
• Strong comprehension of system architectures and development workflows.
• Proven ability to lead cross-disciplinary teams and manage intricate technical responsibilities.
• Exemplary communication and coordination skills with both technical experts and non-technical stakeholders.
• Methodical, proactive, and solutions-oriented approach to work.
• Fluency in both German and English languages.
• Enjoys taking accountability and driving projects toward completion.
• Due to involvement with naval projects under specific security regulations, applicants must hold German citizenship; dual citizenship including German is acceptable.
