Job Summary and Responsibilities
We are seeking an experienced professional to oversee the manufacturing and production operations within our facility. Key responsibilities include managing equipment and validating processes in line with regulatory compliance, and producing procedural documentation.
- Manage line operations including production activities such as Cleaning-in-place (CIP), Sterilizing-in-place (SIP), and batch manufacturing.
- Operate and maintain equipment including Steam Sterilizers, Dry Heat Sterilizers, HVAC systems, water systems, compressed air, and Nitrogen systems.
- Validate sterilization, washing, aseptic filling, and cleaning processes.
- Evaluate and manage change controls, deviations, incidents such as Out of Specification (OOS) and Out of Trend (OOT) results, and conduct risk assessments.
- Prepare Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and batch manufacturing records.
- Conduct training sessions on Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Apply knowledge of aseptic techniques, Lean manufacturing principles, and overall equipment effectiveness (OEE) metrics.
- Respond to inquiries concerning regulatory audits, particularly from agencies like the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemical Engineering, or related disciplines.
- A minimum of seven years’ experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing operations.
- Proficient in production line tasks and equipment handling related to cleaning, sterilization, and aseptic processes.
- Skilled in process validation methods and evaluation of quality deviations and change management.
- Experienced in drafting SOPs and batch documentation.
- Knowledgeable in aseptic procedures, Lean methodology, OEE, and key production performance indicators.
- Familiar with regulatory audit processes, including US FDA compliance requirements.
- Strong understanding of GMP and good laboratory practices.

- Excellent time management to adhere to production timelines with quality assurance.
