Role Overview
We are looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist who is enthusiastic about fostering community engagement and assisting people in accessing essential healthcare and resources. This position entails managing the entire recruitment cycle for various positions, collaborating closely with hiring managers and the HR team to ensure compliant and efficient hiring, while prioritizing an excellent candidate experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with hiring managers to create precise and attractive job descriptions tailored to role and organizational needs.
- Handle all phases of recruitment including intake sessions, sourcing candidates, screening, interview coordination, offer management, and onboarding transition.
- Employ multiple sourcing channels such as job portals, social media, professional networks, and employee referrals to attract candidates.
- Recommend new sourcing methods to engage both active and passive candidates.
- Conduct resume evaluations and initial phone screenings to evaluate candidate suitability.
- Schedule and organize interviews between candidates and hiring teams.
- Oversee interview logistics to provide a smooth and positive candidate experience.
- Perform reference checks and report findings accurately to hiring managers.
- Maintain open and consistent communication with candidates regarding application status and hiring decisions.
- Facilitate onboarding processes including paperwork completion, orientation facilitation, and smooth integration of new hires.
- Manage data integrity within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and assist in system optimization.
- Track and report relevant recruitment metrics such as time to fill and source effectiveness.
- Support employer branding efforts by representing the organization at recruitment events and promoting company values.
- Ensure all recruitment activities comply with relevant employment regulations and maintain confidentiality of candidate information.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within recruitment and onboarding processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related discipline preferred, or equivalent experience.
- Between 3 to 5 years of experience managing full recruitment cycles in dynamic environments.
- Well-versed in sourcing methods, recruitment best practices, and talent acquisition strategies.
- Proficient in using Applicant Tracking Systems and other recruitment platforms.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build strong relationships across all levels of the organization.
- Exceptional organizational ability to manage multiple job openings simultaneously with careful attention to detail.
- Comfortable working both independently and as a collaborative member of the HR team.
- Knowledgeable about employment legislation and recruitment compliance standards.
- Demonstrates professionalism, discretion, and a strong candidate service mindset.
Work Environment and Physical Needs
- Primarily office-based setting that is clean, well-lit, and temperature-controlled.
- Some roles may require travel to client homes or community locations, necessitating safe driving and adaptability to various environmental conditions.
- The position involves extensive computer work including repetitive use of keyboard and mouse.
- Physical demands include lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling equipment up to 35 pounds, walking, standing, negotiating stairs, and fine motor skills for equipment operation.
