About the Role

Geosyntec Consultants invites applications for the position of Talent Acquisition Recruiter, a vital role within our Talent Acquisition team. The position can be located in any of our North America East region offices including Philadelphia, PA, Boca Raton, FL, Tampa, FL, Atlanta, GA, or Houston, TX. This role involves managing the complete recruitment lifecycle to attract and secure top talent, primarily focusing on early- and mid-career professionals. The recruiter will also support corporate staffing needs when required and act as a trusted advisor regarding talent sourcing strategies, market dynamics, employment law, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the entire recruitment process including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding of qualified candidates.
  • Design and implement innovative and proactive sourcing strategies to identify and engage high-quality candidates.
  • Collaborate with business units to advance diversity and inclusion efforts enhancing workforce diversity across roles.
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience by maintaining open communication and feedback throughout the process.
  • Establish strong partnerships with hiring managers and HR Business Partners to understand workforce needs and develop strategic recruitment plans.
  • Maintain recruitment compliance and efficiently manage candidate tracking using applicant tracking systems.
  • Continuously improve recruitment workflows for greater efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Utilize multiple sourcing channels such as job boards, social media, employee referrals, community networks, and industry organizations to build diverse talent pipelines.
  • Monitor industry and market trends to adapt recruiting strategies and provide recommendations accordingly.
  • Participate in additional recruitment initiatives including diversity programs, student outreach, immigration matters, and manager training when applicable.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience managing full recruitment lifecycle or equivalent education-experience combination.
  • Experience recruiting within the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) consulting sector is preferred.
  • Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems, Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Ability to work with urgency and adaptability in a dynamic environment to meet deadlines and commitments.
  • Knowledge of U.S. employment laws and OFCCP regulations preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills combined with strong interpersonal abilities.
  • Willingness to travel as job requirements dictate.
