About the Role
Catholic Healthcare invites compassionate individuals to join as Support Workers aiding seniors to live independently at home within the Hills area of New South Wales. Whether you’re a seasoned professional or new to aged care, flexible part-time or casual positions await, offering varied tasks and meaningful connections.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide assistance to clients with household chores such as cleaning, tidying, washing, and other care plan duties.
- Transport clients to appointments and shopping venues.
- Prepare meals to meet clients' nutritional needs.
- Offer social engagement and respite support for family or carers.
- Deliver personal care services including showering and dressing for those who are qualified and fully trained.
What You Need to Succeed
- A heartfelt commitment to high-quality care for older Australians in community settings.
- Comfort and effective communication in engaging with diverse clients.
- Dependability and cooperative teamwork skills.
- Awareness and adherence to workplace health and safety standards.
- Possession of a Certificate III or IV in Individual Support is advantageous but not mandatory.
- A valid Australian driver’s license and access to a registered vehicle are essential.
