Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Structural Technician to join our Auckland office. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years’ experience and demonstrate strong skills in Revit. This role involves collaborating closely with structural engineers to produce high-quality structural documentation and drawings, managing projects from initial concept to construction phase.

Key Responsibilities

Create structural drawings and documentation utilizing Revit.
Develop precise 3D models and coordinate project documentation effectively.
Collaborate with engineers and other disciplines to produce integrated design solutions.
Support Building Information Modeling (BIM) coordination, including assistance in the creation of BIM standards, families, and libraries.
Ensure timely and accurate delivery of documentation adhering to professional standards.
Engage with clients, contractors, and project teams as necessary.

Candidate Profile

At least 2 years’ experience as a Structural Technician within an engineering consultancy or a related setting.
Proficient in Revit with experience in producing structural documentation.
Familiarity with BIM workflows and processes.
Possession of a relevant qualification in engineering drafting or a similar discipline.
Excellent organizational and communication abilities.
A proactive approach, strong attention to detail, and dedication to delivering high-quality results.
