Role Overview

The New York Times is seeking a Strategy Manager focused on Subscriber Growth to join its Strategy & Development team. This select, impactful team collaborates directly with senior leaders including the Publisher, CEO, and CFO to shape strategic direction and transform it into measurable outcomes.

With the digital subscription business growing rapidly, the role involves working across diverse product lines such as News, Games, The Athletic, Cooking, and Wirecutter, addressing key challenges and opportunities. Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver rigorous quantitative analyses and insights that guide company and departmental decision-making.

Basic Qualifications

  • Minimum of three years in relevant roles.
  • Experience within digital product development or subscription-based businesses.
  • Skilled in developing data-driven analyses, financial models, and strategic frameworks comparable to top-tier consulting standards.
