Role Overview
We are offering a full-time, permanent position for a Store Person within the Kinisla Agribusiness team based in Castleisland, Co. Kerry. This role includes varied daily challenges and the opportunity to be integral in stock management, customer service, and store operations, with support from both local and wider company teams.
Working Hours
Standard working hours are Monday to Friday from 08:30 to 17:00, and Saturday mornings from 08:30 to 12:00.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver customer service and respond to product inquiries face-to-face and by phone, including handling cash transactions.
- Merchandise products throughout the store and yard areas.
- Ensure customer data confidentiality and security.
- Oversee stock management, deliveries, and maintain accurate stock records using Oracle systems.
- Maintain cleanliness and order within the store environment.
- Operate a forklift for loading and unloading products such as animal feeds, fertilizers, and other store goods.
- Adhere strictly to health and safety protocols.
- Provide support to the store manager and collaborate effectively with the rest of the team.
Experience and Training
Candidates with backgrounds in sales, customer service, or roles including warehouse operative, forklift operator, store operative, or stock controller will find their experience useful. Familiarity with the agriculture sector is considered an asset. Comprehensive training will be given on product handling, forklift operation, manual handling, and chemical safety.
