Job description
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Stocktake Auditor or Stocktaker Advisor, ideally with a hospitality management or supervisory background, to join our team in the Preston area. This role involves visiting various restaurants, pubs, bars, and retail entertainment venues to conduct wet and dry stocktakes, analyze data, and provide expert advice to improve stock utilization and increase profitability.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct routine wet and dry stocktakes at hospitality venues including bars, pubs, and restaurants.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with assigned clients providing professional consultation on hospitality business operations.
- Analyze stocktake outcomes and generate reports from EPoS systems, using insights to guide businesses on stock management improvements.
- Travel regularly within the Preston and surrounding areas to client locations, requiring reliable personal transportation.
Candidate Profile & Requirements
- Previous experience in stocktaking roles is preferred; however, candidates with hospitality management or supervisory experience (Bar Manager, Pub Manager, Restaurant Manager, Assistant Manager, or Supervisor) and exposure to stocktaking will also be considered.
- Proficient in operating EPoS systems, including generating stock reports and item management.
- Strong organizational, time-management, and administrative skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
- Computer literate with solid knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
- Good understanding of stock yields and depletion rates.
Working Conditions & Benefits
- Standard working hours are Monday to Friday, allowing evenings, weekends, and bank holidays off.
