About the Position

Joining Walmart Canada as a Stock Unloader Associate offers an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience within the retail sector. This role is essential for handling the unloading of trailers, processing incoming merchandise, and moving pallets to the store floor. It also involves maintaining a safe, clean workplace and delivering outstanding customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and reset the Receiving Area to ensure orderly operations.
• Unload trailers containing general merchandise and organize items effectively.
• Complete live unloading for any remaining merchandise promptly.
• Maintain the cold chain protocols for refrigerated and frozen goods during receiving and stocking.
• Transport pallets to the sales floor for overnight processing.
• Assist with sales floor stocking as required and offer customer support when necessary.
• Label and arrange overstock merchandise properly.
• Promote a hazard-free and clean work environment by following company policies, completing safety logs, and securing displays and fixtures.

Compensation

The base hourly wage for this position begins at 16.15 CAD.
