Job Overview
We are seeking a proactive and motivated Food & Beverage professional to lead and coordinate a team dedicated to delivering exceptional food and beverage products along with efficient, personalized service. This opportunity is located at Park Rotana & Park Arjaan, Abu Dhabi.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, and execute quarterly inventory counts meticulously.
- Maintain accurate records of all breakages and recommend procurement for operational equipment.
- Collaborate with the local Health Ministry concerning environmental compliance and keep relevant stakeholders informed.
- Oversee the quality control of washing equipment, chinaware, glassware, flatware, ensure proper burnishing of silverware, kitchen sanitation, and waste management.
- Select appropriate cleaning chemicals and procedures while conducting technical training for staff.
- Assist in managing Food & Beverage divisional expenses by educating outlets on optimal chemical usage, correct equipment operation, minimizing breakage costs, and enforcing safety standards.
- Coordinate with Assistant Food & Beverage Manager or Outlet Managers to assess daily and next-day requirements.
- Manage orientation for new staff members, prepare utilities induction checklists, and facilitate on-the-job training sessions.
Qualifications and Experience
Candidates should ideally hold a degree in hospitality along with prior experience in the Stewarding Department within a hotel setting. Proficiency in English, both written and spoken, is essential, complemented by strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
