Role Details
Position: Static Security Officer
Location: Galway, County Galway, Ireland
Type: Permanent, full-time
Schedule: Shift-based, Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM
Key Responsibilities
- Protect life and property with diligence
- Manage and respond effectively to incidents
- Conduct property patrols regularly
- Monitor CCTV systems attentively
- Control and supervise access points
- Deliver high-quality customer service
- Prepare detailed reports accurately
- Communicate and collaborate with management
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Completion of Basic Guarding Skills at QQI Level 4
- Valid Private Security Authority License for Static role
- Possession of a full, clean EU driving license
- Proficiency in driving a manual vehicle
- At least 6 months of relevant industry experience
- Proficient English communication skills, both oral and written (minimum B2 level)
- Valid work permit or visa if applicable
- Basic computer literacy
