About the Role

As the Specification Manager based in Queensland and Northern Territory, your primary responsibility will be to drive, grow, and develop product specifications with leading architects across the region. You will champion an innovative, design-led product range that improves energy efficiency and promote the company's footprint nationwide to ensure brand awareness among Architects and Specifiers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive specification of products with architects, designers, engineers, and specifiers on commercial projects.
  • Consult and collaborate with fire and ESD consultants to ensure compliance and integration.
  • Build and nurture a robust pipeline of project specifications.
  • Coordinate closely with your counterpart responsible for progressing specifications through to project completion with builders and contractors.
  • Stay informed about NCC regulations, particularly Section J relating to energy efficiency.
  • Establish and maintain strong networking relationships with architects, designers, engineers, asset owners, fire consultants, and ESD consultants.
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver Continuing Professional Development (CPD) presentations to architects and specifiers.

Skills & Experience Required

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience specializing in specification sales roles.
  • Proven track record of success in specification sales, preferably with building envelope products.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to establish rapport and strong relationships within the architectural community.
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills.
  • Committed work ethic and high moral standards focused on delivering quality customer service.
  • Confident presenter who is self-motivated, strategic, and adaptable.
