Software Product Manager

About the Role

Join Google as a Software Product Manager in Singapore, where you will lead product initiatives that influence millions worldwide. As part of our Core team, you will manage foundational technology elements that support Google's premier products, focusing on third-party code consumption and security across developer ecosystems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the implementation of strategies for third-party code usage across all Google developer platforms.
• Work alongside the Engineering team to create and implement automated tools including intelligent systems for managing third-party risks.
• Define and track key performance indicators related to Google's software supply chain security to inform senior leadership.
• Act as the key liaison connecting technical security operations with governance to ensure data compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
• Translate complex system interactions into accessible insights for executive decision-making.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of five years in product management or a technical field and five years in software engineering or related areas.
• At least two years experience in product development or launch within security or privacy-related sectors.
• Preferred qualifications include a Master’s in Technology or Business, experience delivering technical presentations at the executive level, and cross-functional collaboration with engineering, design, sales, and finance.
• Leadership experience in technical domains, adeptness in negotiation and managing multiple priorities.
