About the Role
We are seeking a Software Engineer to join our client's team, working remotely and full-time. This position involves developing scalable backend systems for fast and reliable e-commerce platforms. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement high-performance solutions supporting real-time global user interactions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain backend services that scale efficiently within distributed environments.
- Develop clean, maintainable, and well-tested code in accordance with industry best practices.
- Enhance system performance by analyzing bottlenecks and optimizing algorithms and infrastructure.
- Engage in code reviews, architectural planning, and technical discussions to improve product quality.
- Partner with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver new features promptly.
Required Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Go, Python, or Java.
- Experience working with distributed systems, microservices architectures, or cloud-native applications.
- Knowledge of both SQL and NoSQL databases and skills in database performance tuning.
- Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and system design fundamentals.
- Familiarity with version control tools like Git and continuous integration/deployment pipelines.
