Role Overview

We seek an innovative and adaptable engineer eager to build scalable, high-performance features and systems that deliver cutting-edge AI product experiences. At Lightfield, engineers own projects end-to-end, collaborate across teams, and push boundaries in applied AI system development. You will join a talented team delivering market-leading solutions and influencing our product and technical direction.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with product leaders to understand customer challenges, define scopes, and implement effective solutions.
• Design and maintain full-stack features and systems ensuring robustness, scalability, and performance.
• Develop monitoring tools and metrics for smooth operations, proactive problem detection, and ongoing improvements.
• Mentor colleagues, conduct code reviews, and help foster a strong engineering culture and best practices.
• Support building an exceptional engineering team through recruitment, mentorship, and sharing of knowledge.

Candidate Profile

• Enthusiastic about Large Language Models (LLMs) and building systems that leverage them.
• Quick learner comfortable working with a tech stack that includes TypeScript, React, Next.js, Node.js, Apollo GraphQL, and PostgreSQL.
• Strong software engineering fundamentals supported by a degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
• Thrives amid uncertainty, can independently drive projects, and deliver results rapidly.
• Effective communicator capable of explaining technical choices to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Passionate about developing intuitive, intelligent CRM products that customers find invaluable.
