Role Overview
The Social Media Officer will support management of Dr. Andy Osakwe's social media accounts, collaborating closely with administrators, content creators, graphic designers, and video editors to plan and implement strategies and campaigns that advance the ministry's mission across multiple social media platforms.
Key Duties
- Lead a small but agile team of social media professionals.
- Design and implement promotional strategies for AOMI’s events, publications, activities, and partnerships.
- Coordinate with graphic designers and video editors to produce engaging content for social channels.
- Oversee live-stream broadcast monitoring.
- Manage content scheduling, campaign execution, and audience interaction.
- Analyze performance metrics and optimize content strategies.
- Stay current with social media trends to refine branding approaches.
- Maintain consistent visual style and tone across platforms.
- Innovate with diverse content types such as reels, carousels, and user-generated content.
Candidate Profile
- 2 to 4 years experience handling social media for brands or agencies.
- Proficient with Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Twitter/X, and Threads.
- Familiarity with YouTube and Spotify platforms.
- Strong creative storytelling and conceptual skills.
- Competent in data tracking, reporting, and content optimization.
- Experience working collaboratively or managing a team.
