Role Overview

The Social Media Content Creator will own the development and management of social channels by crafting engaging, family-focused AI education content. Responsibilities include planning content calendars, producing short videos and graphics, crafting compelling captions and micro-stories, working hand-in-hand with creative and educational teams, and capturing live events in Thrissur. Monitoring engagement and using analytics to refine content forms a key part of the role. This position requires on-site presence to directly collaborate and captivate the community through authentic storytelling.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and execute content calendars with a focus on child-friendly topics related to artificial intelligence.
• Create diverse multimedia content - including short videos, reels, images, and stories tailored to families.
• Write compelling captions and micro-stories to simplify AI concepts in an educational and engaging manner.
• Collaborate closely with educators, designers, and parents to translate learning activities into social media formats.
• Monitor social media performance and community interactions, adapting content strategy based on feedback and data.
• Capture live in-person moments on site for authentic content creation.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Proficient in developing engaging content across platforms such as Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, and Facebook.
• Strong narrative and storytelling abilities to communicate AI concepts effectively for children and families.
• Basic graphic design and video editing skills using tools like Canva, Adobe Express, or mobile applications.
• Familiarity with social media best practices for growing and maintaining audience engagement.
• Comfortable working alongside families and children in on-site environments, capturing candid moments.
• Interest in AI, technology, and creative education with a readiness to learn new tools and techniques.
• Good organizational skills to maintain publishing schedules and content calendars.
• Excellent collaboration and communication to work smoothly with multidisciplinary teams.
• Previous experience in social media management or digital storytelling is preferred; relevant educational qualifications are a plus but not compulsory.
