Ship Project Interface Officer

Primary Role

This position acts as the key communication bridge linking the LNG Shipping Department within QatarEnergy's Marketing Directorate to project management, engineering teams responsible for new ship builds, ship operators, and other related external partners. The officer ensures that high levels of safety, regulatory compliance, and operational standards are maintained while integrating project specifications effectively across the lifecycle of the chartered LNG fleet.

Experience & Skills Required

• At least eight years of experience in marine operations and transportation within the oil and gas sector.
• Demonstrated success in managing profit centers related to marine shipping activities.

Educational Requirements

• Possess a Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Marine Studies, or an equivalent discipline.
• Alternatively, hold a First Class Marine Certificate of Competency such as Master Mariner or Chief Engineer.
