Job Summary
As a Shift Leader at Panda Restaurant Group, you will play a pivotal role in energizing the restaurant environment by supporting management and upholding Panda’s mission of delivering food with passion, heartfelt service, and a welcoming ambiance. Key Responsibilities
- Assist in fostering a lively and hospitable atmosphere for guests.
- Oversee store functions and lead the team effectively during shifts.
- Participate actively in cooking and preparing popular menu items.
- Develop a broad skill set to enhance both personal growth and team development.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Some completion of high school education.
- Preferably possesses some operational experience in food service.
- Food safety certification as per local regulations, such as a Food Handler certificate, to be obtained by the applicant.
Working Conditions and Physical Demands
The work environment can be physically demanding, involving standing for extended periods, exposure to heat and steam, and handling kitchen equipment including knives. Employees must be capable of lifting up to 50 pounds and managing tasks in a fast-paced setting with elevated noise and limited space.
