Role Summary

We are expanding our Services Organization in Ireland and invite motivated, customer-centered Service Engineers to join our team. As a Mechanical Field Service Engineer based in Dublin, you will be instrumental in delivering technical products and support through preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and installations. You will uphold Tetra Pak's global reputation for excellence in service.

While home-based, you will frequently travel within the UK, including England, with occasional international trips.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct visits to customer sites to perform preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and install equipment.
  • Diagnose technical problems and escalate them per standard operating procedures.
  • Train customer operators as required.
  • Assist in optimizing production plant efficiency and monitor service contracts to aid business growth.
  • Ensure all work adheres to safety and quality standards, including thorough reporting.
  • Represent Tetra Pak professionally and contribute ideas to enhance customer operations and service delivery.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment and strictly follow health and safety protocols to promote team safety culture.
  • Document site visits and complete detailed reports after each assignment.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Up to three years' experience in maintenance, service, or installation roles.
  • Educational background in industrial systems, automation, or process engineering.
  • Good proficiency with computer tools.
  • Solid mechanical, electrical, and/or automation system knowledge.
  • Flexibility to travel on short notice.
  • Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
  • Proactive approach with a strong customer-oriented mindset.
