Role Overview

Rowan Ward in Yeovil is hiring a Facilities Service Assistant, covering both cleaning and kitchen support duties, to join a welcoming and supportive team.

Rowan Ward is a 16-bed acute mental health unit that cares for patients with a broad range of support needs. The team works closely together and values a compassionate, collaborative approach in a fast-paced clinical setting.

In this position, you will help create and maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable ward environment that contributes to patient recovery. You will work with ward staff and facilities colleagues to keep cleanliness, hygiene, and food service standards consistently high.

Comprehensive training and continued support will be provided, so this role is well suited to someone beginning a career in healthcare support services or looking to build on existing experience.

Working Pattern

This is a full-time role with shift options of 07:00 to 15:00 or 10:00 to 18:00.
