Senior Trainer - Capacity Building and Training Programs

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Senior Trainer to spearhead capacity-building initiatives and provide effective training, workshops, and awareness sessions to employees of Municipal Corporations and Government Departments. These programs support projects centered around the Swachh Mission, Occupational Safety, Hygiene, Sanitation, and Urban Development across multiple locations.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, organize, and deliver impactful training modules on themes such as Swachh Mission, safety, sanitation, occupational health, and related subjects.
• Conduct both classroom and on-site training for employees from Municipal Corporations, Urban Local Bodies (ULBs), and government entities.
• Liaise closely with Municipal Commissioners, senior government officials, and local authorities to plan and implement training schedules.
• Develop comprehensive training materials including session plans, presentations, handbooks, and learning content.
• Use adult learning principles and participatory methods to facilitate engaging workshops.
• Evaluate participant learning through pre- and post-training assessments and prepare detailed reports.
• Ensure timely submission of necessary documentation such as attendance records, photographs, feedback, and project deliverables.
• Undertake extensive travel across states for the successful execution of training programs.
• Represent the organization professionally during interactions with stakeholders and government agencies.

Candidate Profile

• Minimum of five years' experience conducting training and workshops for corporate or government sectors.
• Experience with projects in Swachh Mission, occupational safety, sanitation, hygiene, urban development, or skill development is advantageous.
• Strong presentation, communication, facilitation, and public speaking skills.
• Ability to engage audiences from diverse backgrounds effectively.
• Fluency in English, Hindi, and the local regional language in both verbal and written forms.
• Excellent organizational and coordination skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
• Preparedness to travel frequently across the state as required.
• Self-driven, energetic, and able to work independently with minimal oversight.

Education and Certifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline is required; Master’s Degree is preferred.
• Certifications related to Training, Occupational Safety, Sanitation, Public Health, or similar fields will be considered an asset.
