Senior Project Engineer / Senior Automation Control Engineer

About the Roles

These positions report to the Research & Development Head and involve significant responsibility in engineering management and industrial automation. The Senior Project Engineer role focuses on planning and leading multiple simultaneous projects primarily related to toy and juvenile product development, NPI, and production engineering support. The Senior Engineer/Engineer position in Automation Control is part of the industrial engineering team, responsible for devising, designing, and controlling automation systems to improve manufacturing processes in areas including sewing, plastic injection, electronics, and mechanical assembly.

Responsibilities and Requirements for Senior Project Engineer

• Hold a Higher Diploma in Engineering or a related field; a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is an advantage.
• Demonstrated experience in project management.
• Fluency in both spoken and written English and Mandarin.
• Experience in the toy industry is preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of plastic properties and resin materials is beneficial.
• Skilled in 3D modeling software, especially Z-brush, Rhino, and AutoCAD (advantageous).
• Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite including InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator (preferred).
• Strong ability to manage deadlines and juggle multiple tasks concurrently.

Responsibilities and Requirements for Senior Engineer/Engineer, Automation Control

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Automation, or Electrical Engineering.
• At least 5 years of engineering experience.
• Familiarity with sourcing, designing, and controlling automation systems.
• Capability to troubleshoot equipment issues and conduct comprehensive system tests.
• Experience with AutoCAD, PLC controls, standalone drives, and servo controls.
• Knowledge of sewing automation and control systems for hydraulics, robotics, and instrumentation is advantageous.
• Additional coursework in statistics, databases, or robotics is a plus.
