About the Role
Alkhorayef Energy Systems is looking for a seasoned Senior Mechanical Engineer to enhance their Engineering division based in Riyadh's Second Industrial City. The successful candidate will bring notable expertise in mechanical design, product innovation, and engineering solutions tailored to industrial contexts.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess mechanical design concepts and determine project viability considering engineering design and manufacturing constraints.
- Create, update, and refine 3D models, assemblies, and precise manufacturing blueprints utilizing SolidWorks and AutoCAD software.
- Contribute actively to product development and ongoing enhancement efforts.
- Scrutinize designs to confirm availability of materials, adherence to safety protocols, manufacturing feasibility, and cost-effectiveness.
- Generate, evaluate, and validate engineering drawings, technical documentation, and Bills of Materials (BOMs).
- Offer technical assistance to production, fabrication, and quality assurance groups.
- Perform technical evaluations and execute site inspections when necessary.
- Implement sound mechanical engineering principles and industry standards to produce practical engineering solutions.
- Mentor and review work produced by junior engineers, providing expert technical feedback and guidance.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- At least 3 years' experience in mechanical design and manufacturing sectors.
- Proficiency with SolidWorks and AutoCAD design tools.
- Solid background in mechanical design, fabrication, and product development processes.
- Familiarity with ASTM International Standards.
- Competence in preparing detailed manufacturing drawings and technical documentation.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience within energy systems, industrial machinery, manufacturing, or related engineering projects.
- Track record of collaboration with production and quality control teams.
Work Location
This role is stationed onsite in Riyadh – Second Industrial City, Saudi Arabia.
